Inscription

In pen script on reverse, lower right is, ""Watercolor of/Rebecca Nurse House,(Tapley [illegible])/ Danvers, Mass./ by George M. White, artist of/Salem, Mass., about 1895."" Other misc. inscriptions regarding house indicate view is from the North West and proportions are innaccurate. In pen script on reverse, center, is ""No, wrong again. This is the Nurse house from/ the North West. It shows the back of the/house and is a very poor picture. The rear wall/should be about 2/5 the height from ground to ridgepole."" At center top reverse is ""Soc. Pres. N.E. Antiquities/Service inventory #5,""
