Description

Plate, hand thrown construction. White clay body with white or colorless glaze. Cleaned foot ring. Circular form with wide rim canting to shallow well. Underglaze blue crosshatch band with gilt spearhead border at rim and at cavetto. Overglaze blue enamel and gilt decoration at center of swagged ermine enclosing a shield with the monogram "AQ".
