Description

Circular gray-white body w/ shallow concave well. Plate rim and cavetto w/ Nanking style border consisting of well-defined underglaze blue cross-hatched band and spearhead border outlined in gilding. Gilded edge and banding. Central overglazed gilt, blue and black enamel decoration of pseudo armorial crest consisting of ermine drapery enclosing a shield w/ cypher "AQ". Wiped foot ring.
