Description

Rug, cotton weft and warp with wool knotted pile. Caucasian style. Not finely woven, possibly nomadic. Rectangular form. Central panel is beige field densely figured with interlaced overall design of geometric devices in yellow, red, blue and brown.Tan secondary borders with ribbon-like and heart motif, flanking main border of brown-field with stylized repeating yellow, red and blue floral blossom with fret-like stem work.
