Description

Tall vertical sampler on natural linen, now yellowed. Three alphabets included, one in buttonhole stitch. Three floral borders. Truncated version of verse; "Remember time Will [shortly] Come/ When we [a strict] account must give/ To God the righteous Judge of all/ How we [up]on [this] earth did (do) live." Red, green, blue, pink, yellow. At bottom: "Abigail Bromfeild (sic) her Sampler aged/ 11 Years 1737."
