Scheffer Pinxit. 1822"; "Imprime par Durand & Sauvil"; Leroux Sculpt. 1824" "Lafayette" "A Paris, chez l' Auteur, Rue St. Victor, N0. 9, et chez chaillou Md. D' Estamps, Rue St. Honore No. 140." On back: "J. Eastman. Chase. Painting etchings and Frames No. 7 Hamilton Place Boston" on label with flowers and vines and head of man and woman. Frame--simple. 2 cm. wide. Delicate rope-like molding around outside.
