Description

One of two commemorative badges composed of a striped tricolor (red, white, and blue) ribbon with a silver eagle (with a shield on its breast and arrows in its talon) pin at the top and eight pieces of metallic silver-colored fringe at the bottom. On the face of the ribbon is printed in gold ink a bust-length silhouette of George Washington, right profile in an oval, with "1776" above and "1876" below.
