Ribbon badge celebrating the centennial of the United States; consists of a red, white, and (tricolor) striped ribbon, with stamped metal decorations attached: an eagle at the top, a badge profile portrait of George Washington, and a small bell suspended by a jump ring from the bottom of the ribbon. The bronze-colored eagle has spread wings and a shield on its front with laurels and arrows in its talons. The porrtrait of George Washington is a left profile framed in a shield with embossed stars and the dates "1776-1876" above his head.
