Painted maple and white pine fancy chair. Splat rail with four turned spindles beneath rail, shaped plank seat with rolled front edge, four turned legs and box stretchers. Chair retains some of original yellow painted basecoat. Splat has a pillow center on which brown and grey (originally purple) grape and leaf are stencilled. Seat has reddish-brown sponge painting in imitation of birds-eye maple. Chalk inscription on bottom of seat reads "Hun."
