Description

Trunk. Leather, pine, iron, brass, linen. Rectangular in shape; straight sides; flat, hinged top covered in black leather; black; iron strips and latch. Leather handle secured by four brass tacks. White stitching on edges of trunk. Interior covered with linen material. Exterior bottom covered ith blue and white diaper pattern paper. Leather attached to bottom with small iron tacks and four larger brass tacks which act as feet. Diamond-shaped printed label glued to lid reads "N. Neat & Son/Wholesale Dealers in /TRUNKS/VALISES/CARPET BAGS, etc./30+32 Elm Street,/Boston."
