Description

Wide oval form, with dished rim terminating in molded beaded edge. Flat bottom with thinly executed machine-etched decoration featuring a Greek key border band enclosing a stylized s-scroll border band. Each end with applied handle: cartouche shape with beaded edge, scrolling to leafy terminus and supported by two leafy s-scrolls. Impressed on handle: “1798 G 24”.
