Description

Circular plate with wide rim and inverted dished edge (turning under). Deep circular well. Underglaze blue transfer printed decoration with scalloped border design; well with view of “New York + Brooklyn Bridge/Souvenir of Brooklyn, NY”. Rim with ovoid reserves with scenes of Brooklyn landmarks: 1) The City Hall, 2) Fort Greene Park, 3) Soldiers and sailors Memorial Arch, 4) Prospect Park, 5) Institute of Arts and Sciences, 6) Battleship Maine in Navy Yard.
