One of three Gothic Revival side chairs with tracery and arch backs composed of center quatrefoil surmounted crocket of blossoming acanthus leaf. Back flanked by two rectangular stiles with recessed lozenge motifs, acorn finials and quatrefoil corner blocks which are repeated on front chair rail corners. Two turned and octagonal shaped front feet terminate in ring and ball turnings; slightly flared rear legs; all four with casters. Red wool upholstery over front rail with matching gimp.
