Rectangular form with slightly overhanging rectangular top and canted edge. Supports an overhanging to drawer enclosed by rectangular sides with modified columnar supports, with black at top and step molded Marlborough feet. Case encloses three long drawers with burled maple pulls. Apron is cyma-curved arches. Whole surmounted by Gothic style looking glass supported by flat jig-saw columnar posts with crocket finials. The looking glass frame in Gothic arch form. Whole repainted (c. 1880s) deep green over original green with black line and scroll decoration overall. Same form as 1970.461, grain painted in Gothic Revival style.
