Description

Square backed Windsor armchair, canted backward with bamboo-turned stiles enclosing seven bamboo-turned spindles surmounted by “bird-cage” rectangular crest rail with slightly defined pointed “ears”. Bamboo-turned arms with conforming spindles and arm support. Saddle seat with enclosed line border band. Splayed bamboo-turned legs with block stretchers. Repainted leaf-green over black (may have been originally black).
