Description

Secretary desk and bookcase with concave molded cornice above two glass doors with upper corner tracery decoration, and intermediate strap, enclose three adjustable shelves. Interior painted yellow. Two corresponding drawers and simple molding to reveal green leather writing surface and center open storage area flanked on either side by four pigeonholes over single drawer with turned pull. Lower section composed of two doors with modified tracery bracket decoration, inlaid brass escutcheons. One shelf in lower section. Carved serpentine skirt low to ground. Two extant keys to desk and lower section.
