Description

Simple rectangular case with rounded corners, with slightly overhanging top with rounded edges. Case with an applied demi-round molding down the edges on the front. Case encloses two small over three long drawers. Sides and front terminate in bracket-curves creating ogee-like feet. Painted bright red with gilt like banding on top and on drawer fronts. Probably repainted in the 1880s. Original turned walnut mushroom style drawer pulls.
