Description

Armchair. Rattan wicker, maple, tufted chintz upholstery. Woven back in diamond pattern with arched crest; wicker braid applied to stiles and half arms; wooden seat frame; red-pattered rep tufted seat cushion covered with polished cotton chintz; woven arched front, side, and back skirts. Rests on wrapped legs and cross stretchers with woven skirt. Labeled at underside of seat: "No. 484/Manufactured by the/Wakefield Ratan Co/Boston/New York/Chicago.
