Description

Porcelain plate with Imai decoration of underglaze blue and hand painted red, gilt and green. Central well has asymmetrical scene of a tree with stylized leaves next to a low table. Vase with flowers and a bowl with spoon positioned on table. Red geometric band around bowl with floral panels. Surround is underglaze blue with alternating floral panels and single stylized flowers. Surround underside with two floral decorations. All over bluish tint.
