Round ash splint basket with round base and slightly ballooned sides. The basket body is woven from narrow weavers in a "wicker" pattern with a band of wider weavers, some woven in a "diamond" curl overlay pattern at the mid-section. The basket likely had a cover which is no longer extant. The rim is a carved wooden hoop on the interior and splint on the exterior, held in place with a single ash splint binder.
