Description

Rectangular porcelain serving dish. Dish (a) has canted sides and cover (b) with berry finial. Decorated with green tendrils, pink peonies and butterflies on metallic gold ground. Scroll-edged medallions on body and on cover depict 1) people engaged in various activities and 2) birds and insects with flowers. Two circular medallions bordered in gold flank finial and depict bird and flowers.
