Cream wool challis printed with brown chine stripe with alternating patterns of green leaves and red and blue floral bunches; broad neckline trimmed with ecru crocheted lace; yoke effect created by attached pleating; piping at armseye and waist; short, wide pointed sleeves; boned darts in front, princess seams in back; center back hook and eye closure with insert of lace-covered linen (concealed); bodice and sleeves lined with linen; hidden linen waistband with button and snaps at center front and hook and eye in back; box pleating all around; pocket at left; hem faced with glazed linen.
