Description

(A) Dress - Cream - filet lace; V-neckline (front & back); yoke has points around front and extending to shoulders, with lattice lace below; elbow length sleeves; silk chine taffeta waistband - cream ground with floral garland in pinks and greens with rosette at back; skirt front - panel of vertical narrow tucks, enclosed by scalloped filet lace; wide border with scalloped filet, and lattice; dress embroidered throughout with whitework floral sprigs, particularly at back of dress; narrow tucks around hem; fully lined with white silk; hook and eye closure left front; dress shields. Chemisette (B) - cream net with honeycomb pattern ground, and applied filet lace with scalloped edge (same as dress); high collar with wire stays, and trimmed with lace, sleeveless, hook and eye closure center back.
