White linen with bands of cutwork; Bodice (A): chemisette of scalloped lace with high boned collar; V-shaped neckline and back trimmed with scalloped edged cutwork and inserted bands of cutwork; long sleeves with several wide tucks, cutwork and lace cuffs; cream silk ball buttons at front and cuffs; hook and eye at center back. Matching Skirt (B): smooth front; some fullness at center back; flared skirt; pleated and boned cream taffeta waistband with rosettes at front and back; overskirt has cutwork center front panel which continues around hem; plain linen underskirt with machine stitched hem; slight train.
