Description

Cream and pale blue striped taffeta, floral chine in pinks, blues and green; Bodice (A) - V-neckline with turned collar, dotted net insert with pale blue satin bow; dotted net Bertha collar with lace ruffle; short puffed sleeves with ruffled lace undersleeves; pointed waist with pale blue silk yoke; V-back, pleated bodice has floor length panel, stitched pleats, with 2 decorative buttons with portrait of woman in 18th c. dress; boned; lined with silk twill with hooks and eye at back; effect of bodice and skirt together is 18th century robe a la francaise style. Skirt (B) - matching skirt has box pleats at front, with cream chiffon with several net flounces inset at center front; hook and eye closure at back; fully lined with taffeta; weighted hem; dust ruffle of pleated satin and chiffon.
