Description

Purple moire'd silk; V neckline with cream silk net collar with wide lapels and rectangular back - embroidered with floral sprays and scalloped edge; tucks at shoulder front and back; decorative pleated self-belt, with frogs at sides; boned bodice; full skirt with pleats at hips; hem of "overskirt" overlaps at front and cut away at back; taffeta lining has purple moired flounce attached to give effect of purple underskirt; hook and eye and snap closure center front; long sleeves, with fitted pointed cuffs; cream net ruffle at cuffs, and nine self-covered buttons.
