Cylindrical pedestal with applied swags of leaves and berries and central masque supports black square with gilded leaves with standing classical woman in long gown, painted black. Arms crossed at waist, she holds a gilded bird's body at each side. Necks of birds scroll outward and upward in two S-shapes, merging into gilded bobeche.
