Sheraton style tester bedstead with marlborough legs at head which taper into pencil posts. Headboard is slightly rounded. Rectangular wide rails are beaded on upper, out edge. Rear legs have cylindical foot with vase and ring turnings. At join with rails, legs are block turned. Ovoid brass-colored bed bolt covers. Lower posts with spool and ovoid turning with incised ring highlights. Reeded column above tapers to ring turning, tapers to join with highly domed tester with five horizontal stretchers; curved sides hinged at top.
