Buff colored clay body. Lower half and lining tan; upper half deep Rockingham-type brown. Elongated bulbous body with vertical ribbing at base and at cylindrical neck flanking central portion of body decorated with applied oval medallions--one with portrait of Columbus, one with a three-masted ship. Slip-trail insciption "Christopher/Columbus/sighted America/October 12. 1492."
