Description

Cross stitched sampler by "Lucy Ann Nash Aged 12 Wrought Weymouth 1826." In green and brown cotton on linen, the sampler begins with the upper case of the alphabet in script, then in plain lettering, below her signature is an embroidered scene with two trees flanking a basket of flowers. The border is a cross stitched flowering vine. Under glass in thin black wood frame.
