Doll depicting a highly caricatured version of a person with dark skin. Body made from a stuffed knitted stocking dyed black. Hair made of loops of wool yarn pulled through a burlap ground to hold it in place. White button eyes, gathered nose, stitched mouth. Glass bead earrings. Wearing cotton and lace pantaloons, cotton diaper, glazed chintz dress with glass buttons on back. Red leather shoes.
