Description

One of pair, along with 1991.861, of carved and painted decoys representing a green-wing tern, female with brown speckles, green wing patches, neck tucked in and head turned to left in a listening pose. Carved wings, incised head, top and eyes. With green tips on wings and eyes painted deep yellow and black. Bill bright yellow.
