Parasol: Green silk handsewn onto balene ribs. Handle: cherry, handcarved; decorative turnings and inlaid with two rings of ivory. Wire mechanism connects ribs to handle. Lower half of handle detachable with octagonal section ending in finial-type decoration. Case: All contained in linen case. Handsewn and decoratively stamped in dark brown. Case has drawstring closings on both ends. Now wrapped in floral paper wrapper.
