Description

Valance constructed of thick paper printed in vertical stripes and backed with a textured and printed paper. Printed paper ruffles are stitched to the top and hem. Printed pattern consists of six inch wide vertical black stripes with yellow borders alternating with white stripes. Repeating multi-colored motifs of man and bird under trees are printed on the black ground stripes. a scrollling flowered vine is printed on the white ground. Backed with tan-colored paper printed with small red sunbursts. The backing paper is embossed with a repeating diamond motif. Each valance is shaped with a double swag and curved tails. The top and bottom hems are edged with pleated ruffle of white floral stripe bound in maroon. The top hem is bound in twill tape.
