Portrait of a man sitting in a red armchair. He is wearing a black cravat tied around the high collar of his white shirt. He is wearing a black coat with a velvet collar. He holds in his left hand what appears to be a handkerchief of burgundy color. He is an elderly gentleman with a ruddy complexion with short white curly hare and long sideburns. Gilded gesso frame.
